A Smile and a Tear

February 22, 2007

warm and still water washing over you
desires tingling, mingling, flowing, and free
waves of my love, filling your every thought
feeling your passion rising through me

spirits alive in the dance that never ends
reaching the places we've always longed to be
wanting to merge, to find a place of one
losing apprehension, our opening souls see

bodies intertwined, manifesting great love
longing and waxing and waning and more
sensations divine, touch, feel, see and taste
flying as phoenix, break through and we soar

as new lovers savor the sacred new dance
celebrate bliss, great joy, hope and glee
alive in the moment, exploding as one
a smile and a tear as you make love to me
